"Super Ball IX" was very well-organized. Camping was set up next to the Watkins Glen International Speedway. A relatively short walk brought you to the concert site. Along the way was a myriad of food and beverage vendors as well as many interactive art installations. It's kind of like a big circus for Phish fans.
The concert itself was in a big field with the stage at one end. And the band sure gave us a great time. I recall 7 full sets of music being played over the 3 days. (Not including the "Secret Set" that I missed.) Among Phish originals were covers of "Life on Mars?", "Monkey Man", "Peaches En Regalia" and "Big Balls". The band was in great shape, and the weather cooperated almost the entire time. Each day they played,Phish managed to improve on the previous show. A complete success.
