Gov't Mule/August 25,1995/Burlington,VT

My brain tells me that my first Gov't Mule show was in April of 1996,but apparently not. I do not have any specific memories of this show. It was 1995,and I was partying quite a lot.

What I DO know is that The Mule very quickly became one of my favorite bands in the '90s. Back then it contained Warren Haynes (guitar), Allen Woody (bass) from the Allman Brothers Band and Matt Abts on drums. Currently they have more members,but back in 1995 they defined *Power Trio*. It was blues-rock-fusion with a lot of attitude. Even better,they played Burlington quite a lot back then. All hail The Mule!
