Gov't Mule/October 30,2008/Burlington,VT

As of this day in 2015,this is the last Mule show I've seen. It was a fun night. It would have been great to see them the next night when they played a bunch of Pink Floyd covers,but you can't win them all.

This was a special show as it was Jorgen Carlsson's (bass) first public appearance with the band. I recall covers of "Catfish Blues" and "Stay with Me" mixed in with a bunch of Mule classics. There was an especially manic version of "Thorazine Shuffle".

This show took place shortly before the Presidential elections. Someone in the audience said something like "Warren for President!". He responded with "I respectfully decline". Another fun night at the Flynn Theatre.
