Gov't Mule/February 21,2003/Burlington,VT

Another show from the un-sober period. This line-up of the Mule included original members Warren Haynes (guitar) and Matt Abts (drums). Also included were Danny Louis (keyboards), Andy Hess (bass) and special guest Karl Denson (saxophone).

I recall a couple things about this show. First,it was general admission,so I managed to watch a good chunk of it from the lip of the stage. Also,the Mule chose to cover one of my favorite Zeppelin songs,"Trampled Underfoot". Aside from that,I recall some cool musical exchanges between Warren's guitar and Karl's saxophone. But,due to my condition at the time,that's all I've got.
